I've always had a huge appreciation for berries, especially during summers. This week, because it was so hot, I decided to make a smoothie this week made of just berries. When I buy berry smoothies, I usually find the berry flavor is hidden underdeath layers of dairy and sugar, so for mine, I made sure to make a smoothie that would be purely berries. The result was amazingly refreshing and incredibly tasty; this recipe will definitely be used frequently throughout this summer.
Mixed Berry Smoothie Recipe (Serves 1) (15 min)
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
-1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 3 ice cubes
-2 cups water
1) Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend.
2) Every 10 seconds, use a chopstick to stir ingredients around.
3) Once the ice is all gone, pour smoothie into cup. Enjoy!
