Bucket List: Send a Letter to a Stranger

When I was younger, I used to write in a diary everyday. I've since grown out of that habit, as I became more paranoid of having all my thoughts out packed into one easily opened notebook. I've heard about people writing letters in diary-form to strangers, and thought I would try it out. It actually turned out to be quite therapeutic; there's something refreshing about knowing that anything I might say will be read and "listened to" and yet I will receive no judgments.

I chose a random street in Coronado, California, as I've often come across this town as one of the "prettiest towns in America." I have always dreamed of living in California, and I thought it was fitting to have my thoughts be carried across the country to my dream location.

I don't think writing letters to strangers will become a regular activity for me, but I had a pretty good one-time experience.
