It's cliche, but a blank canvas can offer so many possibilities. However, I saw some examples of empty space versus a blank canvas, and that intrigued me even more so. So, I wanted to try to cut out some of the canvas instead of adding to it.

- Canvas
- X-acto knife
- White paint
1. Sketch a design onto your canvas.
2. Cut the design out.
3. Paint over the canvas with white paint.
4. And you're done!
