I've found this quote to be completely true. I've bonded with some of my closest friends over food. I remember in middle school, I used to go to Panera Bread after school everyday, spending hours there munching on their irresistible baguettes and taking full advantage of their free refill policy. When I got to middle school, I stayed in touch with those friends by going to P.F. Chang's a Saturday night every month. There, we discovered our obsession with lettuce wraps. And next year, when I go off to college to meet a whole new group of people, I will definitely remember this quote, and look for people who share the same love of food.
