I think that often people make the mistake of confusing humility with lack of self-confidence, but I find that the opposite is true. The people I find most humble are those who feel secure in who they are and express pride for their accomplishments. Nevertheless, they aren't self-absorbed. It is their attitude towards themselves that allows them to have conviction in their praise towards others.
