Seafood Spaghetti

I've never been a huge fan of seafood, but adding leftover clams and shrimp to a classic spaghetti recipe actually complemented the tomato taste well. The sauce even covered up the fact that the spaghetti was whole grain. I'll definitely be returning to this recipe if I'm looking for a quick meal.

Seafood Spaghetti Recipe (Serves 3) (30-45 min)
Ingredients:
- 24 cups of water
- 10 oz whole grain angel hair spaghetti
- dash of salt
- 6 tablespoon of olive oil
- 12 oz of Trader Joe's seafood blend
- 12 oz tomato basil marinara sauce
- 1 garden tomato cubed
- 1/2 sweet onion diced
- 1/2 bulb of garlic diced
- 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar

1) Heat 18 cups of water in a deep pot.
2) Once the water boils, add in 10 oz whole wheat spaghetti and a dash of salt.
3) Once the water boils, pour in 1 cup of cold water.
4) As soon as the water boils again, pour the spaghetti into a perforated bowl. Once it drains, transfer to a conical bowl. Add cold water until you reach the top of the conical bowl. Wait 15 seconds, and then pour out the spaghetti into perforated bowl. Drain and transfer onto three separate plates. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil to each plate and mix.
4) In a stir-fry pan, add 5 cups of water.
5) Once the water boils, add 12 oz clams and shrimp.
6) Once the water boils again, pour water into a perforated bowl.
6) Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil to the stir-fry pan and begin to fry 1 garden tomato cubed, 1/2 sweet onion diced and 1/2 bulb of garlic diced on medium heat.
7) When the onion and garlic begins to brown, add back in the clams and shrimp and 12 oz tomato basil marinara sauce. Add 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar and stir.
8) When the sauce boils, turn off the oven and distribute evenly onto the three plates.
