Confession: I'm a hoarder. I keep everything. And while this means my room is in a constant state of "organized" mess, this also means that I have been able to create, or in some cases, recreate, a few unique necklaces due to a habit of piling up seashells, cool rocks, and beads of broken necklaces. All you really need is wire.
So, this is how I have been able to make a seashell into a pendant and then into a necklace.
DIY Seashell Pendant Necklace
Materials:
1. Seashell (I used a conch shell)
2. Thin, flexible wire
3. Nice fabric ribbon
1. Place on end of the wire into a nook of some sort so that it can catch something. I curved my wire into the conch shell and hooked it onto the inner part of the shell.
2. Drape the wire across the front part of the shell.
3. Bring the wire up and under the initial wire.
4. Start looping the wire around smaller section of the shell.
5. Bring the end of the wire through the wire loops creating a giant loop at the opening.
6. Bring the end of the wire up towards to loop and twist in order to secure the top loop.
7. Thread the ribbon through the loop.
8. You're done!
