For me, the cons of tanning beds outweigh the pros so spray tanning was the best option. There are plenty of horror stories about turning orange so I wanted to try this out before any major events (basically, prom). So with some research, some avid reading of Yelp reviews, and some quick stop-ins to the local spray tanning places. I discovered Blush.
Blush advertises "organic sunless tanning". Not only do they customize the shade, but you don't have to wear any nose plugs or googles because of the organic element. The place was very clean and happy, the staff was friendly, and the location was prime. Plus, there were plenty of people walking in and out of the salon, so that is never a bad sign.
The actual tanning process took 15 minutes. I undressed to wear a strapless bra, a tank top (I pulled the straps down off my shoulders) and spandex. I wasn't willing to wear less than that, though the person who sprayed me, the sprayer I'll say, said that some people come in and get sprayed butt naked. Maybe next time? But then again, almost definitely not. She started with my back and sprayed my back, arms and legs. Then, the front with the same movements. And then, my face was sprayed. Simple and easy.
