An illustrious message in a bottle has always been this entity that comes up in fairytales and changes the protagonist's life. Sending one is so simple, why is it not done more often? Your words could change someone's life who happens to stumble upon your bottle. That's crazy.
I started with a wine bottle that my parents finished off. I took off the label for a more clean look. As you will find later, the fact that my bottle does not have a lid of some sort could cause some problems, however using a water bottle may look more like trash. Your call.
This is my note. I wrote some deep thoughts and talked about the significance of my favorite quote.
Make sure to use ballpoint pen or pencil. Any other kind of pen might bleed if it gets wet and your message would be lost.
Because my wine bottle didn't have a lid, I decided to put my note into a ziploc bag so that if it got wet, nothing would happen.
However, once in the bottle, it looked more like trash than a note. My receiver will have to be very perceptive.
I placed the bottle in the part of the Charles closest to my house. Any water source works well as long as it is flowing.
